Business Department

Business Education...The  Intelligent  Choice!

The Business Department offers a variety of course offerings. The curriculum has been designed to offer students: 

• the opportunity to acquire a marketable skill to prepare for entry level employment; 

• acquire the academic concepts and principles necessary for post secondary and higher education study in the business field; and 

• acquire skills necessary for personal use. 

Students can earn up to 24 college credits by taking a variety of business courses and students are afforded the opportunity to join the Business Honor Society.

Student may elect a Business Sequence to meet graduation requirements.

Business students are encouraged to join the business club, Future Business Leaders of America FBLA is the largest club at Carey High School. It is designed to develop leadership and a greater understanding of the business world.
