The Boys' Junior Varsity level has been a stepping stone for future athletes to grow and interact with varsity players. The JV team practices, trains and has try-outs with the varsity team until the first day of the new school year. Students from grades 9-10 can try-out and some 8th graders can be called up to play for the JV team. Practice, like the varsity team, is everyday after school from 3:30 to 5:30, plus practice on Saturdays from 8-10 a.m. For more information contact, Mr. Ehrenkranz and Mr. Quinlan, Phy. Ed. Year In Focus:
Their record, 1-10-1, does not reflect on their strong playing and high skill
level. The opponents they faced this year were second to none, which made it
even more difficult to achieve all the things they wanted. Even with their backs
to the wall, they still played every game with the same intensity and desire to
win. This has always been the trademark attitude for Carey soccer and nothing
has changed.
