Carey Clipper

   Advisor:  Mrs. Dorothy Drexel

The Carey Clipper is an award-winning newspaper.  It received two Newsday School Journalism Awards. It consists of the most dedicated senior high students.  Members can either hold positions or just be part of the staff.

Meetings are held two to three times a month.  Assignment of articles, fund-raising and upcoming events are usually discussed.  There are usually five issues of the Clipper in one school year.  Carey students look forward to seeing what is happening in the Carey community.  They enjoy seeing pictures of their peers and what is going on.
