The Carey Clipper is an award-winning newspaper.  It received two Newsday School Journalism Awards as well as multiple others. It consists of the many dedicated junior and senior high students.  Members can either hold positions or just be part of the staff.

Meetings are every Wednesday. Assignment of articles, fund-raising and upcoming events are usually discussed.  There are usually six issues of the Clipper in one school year.  Students enjoy sharing information and their accomplishments with others. They enjoy learning about the Carey Community!
