What is the club about?

- The Math Honor Society is for students who have high skills in mathematics. It recognizes their hard work and successes in all high school math classes for grades 11th and 12th.

What is the minimum average needed to remain in the honor society?
|
- All students must maintain an 85 average in their math classes.
|
Dues To Pay:
|
- $20 for graduation cords & certificate

How to get in the Math Honor Society?
|
- Maintain a final course grade of at least a 90 in all credit bearing classes leading to the completion of Integrated Algebra curriculum and Regents exam.
- Score minimum of 90 on Integrated Algebra curriculum and Regents exam.
- Parent permission slip must be complete and handed in.
- Membership fee must be paid in a timely manner.
OR
(For Cohort Graduating Class of 2012 and after)
- Having fulfilled the requirements for the Integrated Algebra course and Regents exam and maintain a final course grade of at least 85 in all credit bearing classes leading to the completion of the Geometry curriculum and Regents exam.
- Score a minimum of 85 on the Geometry Regents Exam.
- Maintain a final course grade of at least 85 in all credit bearing classes leading to the completion of the Algebra2/Trigonometry curriculum and Regents exam.
- Score a minimum of 85 on the Algebra2/Trigonometry Regents Exam.

Activites:

- There are no specific activities but the students can volunteer to tutor underclassmen and also help out with graduation.
