Our Objective:
To recognize the achievements of our members in their science courses.

Why would one join?
To be recognized for his/her outstanding achievement in science, and take part in many of the science department activities.

Membership Standards:
Any student may join as an 11th or 12th grader provided that he/she has completed and earned 90% or higher in both Earth Science and Living Environment and is currently enrolled in a Science course.
Currently erolled in a science course.
A one time $10 fee to become a member.

Activities:
The club has enjoyed many great activities in the past. Here are some of the club's past activities.
  • Community Halloween Fair
  • Thanksgiving Food Drive
  • Holiday Toy Drive
We also have our own fundraising activities such as pizza, bake, and candy sales. Our funds have gone to charities like Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, NYC Pajama Project, and a local charity for an ALD patient called Massimo's Challenge. At the end of the year, any remaining funds are donated to the Carey High School Senior Scholarships.

Field Trips:
Past field trips have been a blast. Every year, the members look forward to exciting field trips. Past trips were to the BODIES Exhibit, Museum of Natural History, Rose Science Center/Planetarium to see an IMAX movie and Cosmic Collision.
